Joseph is a single young man and the pastor of CC Paraksika. He was born in Ngabagok in a Christian family. At age 17 he stopped going to church and was living his own life chasing sin. After 4 years he knew what he was doing was wrong and started to attend church again. In 2016 he started to attend CC Tonj and was convicted of his sins and repented. In 2020, he requested a church to be planted in the village of Waagir where he lives. IDAT pastors planted a church there and he had been faithfully attending when he felt the call to plant a church in the nearby village of Paraksika. This is currently the newest church planted in June 2021.

When IDAT planted a church closer to his village he started attending and praying at CC Kunyuk and there he gave his life to Jesus. He said he had peace and just wanted to serve and tell others about Jesus. He helped in the Sunday school and evangelized at medical and other outreaches. Instead, Marko turned to witchcraft and other sinful behaviors to fill this area of his life. By God’s grace, Marko met with IDAT pastors when they came to visit his village, Wargiir, and was amazed at their desire to freely teach the bible. Marko gave his life over to Jesus. His hunger for God’s Word led him to join Calvary Chapel Church in Tonj. However, Marko is now a pastor of his own growing church in Wargiir where he preaches the Word of God, runs bible studies and visits all the homes in the village. Wargiir has suffered from insecurity and flooding, resulting in food shortages. Therefore Marko's passions are building the church, growing food and delivering the gospel for free.Read more -
Peter Mangong Mathiang

His mother sent him to school. Peter was attending the Catholic church from 2010 to 2017 in Thiet payam . In 2017 he joined the IDAT CHE program as a CHE member. At this point he started attending the Calvary Chapel in Maloney. He was amazed by good doctrine and Calvary Chapel's focus on teaching the whole books in the Bible from Genesis to Revelation.
