Ps. Peter learned about the Love of God through the Catholic church in 1994 during the Sudan civil war, and shortly after got baptized to show his love for God. He lived in the city of Wau, which was occupied by the North. He lived there until the end of the war, and during that time, he experienced God consistently protect him from danger. Ps. Peter lived through multiple bombings, shootings, and was shot himself. Thankfully, Catholic missionaries were able to help him medevac to a hospital in Nairobi were he received treatment. After the war, Peter moved to Tonj and got married. He started attending our church, CC Tonj and got more involved in IDAT and CC Tonj. Today, Peter has 4 children, and is a chaplain on our hospital ward, telling each and every patient that walks through our doors about the hope and Good News of Jesus Christ.
