Marko Mapuot, a 29-year-old pastor of Wunyiek Calvary Chapel Church, was raised in a family that knew nothing of God. His entire lineage rejected faith in Christ, making his path to salvation incredibly difficult. While attending school, he fell gravely ill, so severely that he had to drop out. Desperate for healing, he turned to witchcraft, but found no relief. Broken and hopeless, Marko reached a turning point.
Remembering glimpses of God’s truth he had encountered, Marko sought out a local church. There, pastors welcomed him, prayed over him, and taught him Scripture. As he immersed himself in God’s Word, his heart began to change. What started as a search for physical healing became a radical spiritual transformation. He began serving as a Sunday School teacher, growing in faith and leadership.
Today, Marko is not only free from the illness that once plagued him, he is living a testimony of God’s power.
